When you think about the game of ‘golf’, the first thing that comes to mind is a typical white-dimpled ball, golf carts, expensive clubs, and vast green country clubs. These things are also the reason why golf is known as a rich man’s sport. Not everyone can afford to buy a membership to a country club and play golf in real life. Well, fear not, for we have come to your rescue with five of the best golf games that you could play on your PC. These games are those which have been critically acclaimed and widely appreciated by game reviewers and players alike. These are the top 5 golf games of all time:

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 12: The Masters by Electronic Arts (EA)
Tiger Woods, one of the most recognizable names in the world of golf, was the celebrity contributor and the face behind this legendary game series. EA outdid themselves once again with the release of the PGA Tour 12. The most interesting thing about this game was the inclusion of the Augusta National Golf Club, one of the most famous golfing clubs in the United States. This game allows you to relive and recreate the legendary moments of the sport through its various gameplay options. The game is a visual treat. The character models are sharp and well designed. The golf courses have an intricate level of detail, showcasing the grass and the landscaping impeccably. The game has a progressive Career mode, which starts off with the user being an amateur and eventually rising through the ranks to become a professional player and finally winning the most coveted title in the world of golf: The Masters Title. The Golf Club 2019 featuring PGA Tour by 2K Games
The Golf Club 2019 is the latest golf game to be released in the recent past. It has smooth swing controls. 2K Games has paid special attention to the minute details and the visuals are a clear indicator of that attention. It has six golf courses, each one designed to be the closest representation of its counterpart real-world course. The lighting on each of the courses is remarkable and the gameplay experience is replete with realistic elements such as the sounds of the zephyr, the chirping birds and the rustling of leaves. The only fallacy here is that the career mode is highly limited, with only 32 events from start to completion, out of which only 6 events are played on actual golf courses. The rest, even though they occur on well-designed fictional courses, don’t give the same experience as the real ones. Also, the commentary feels rushed and repetitive a lot of times. But all in all, the mechanics and the animations of the gameplay take the cake and it is one of the best golf games to be released in recent times.
System Requirements for The Golf Club 2019:
CPU: Intel Core i5-4670 CPU @ 3.40GHz or equivalent
OS: Windows 10 64 bit
Memory: 8 GB RAM
Graphics: AMD Radeon HD 7850 or NVIDIA GTX 660 with 2GB video RAM
