The beta client for Dragon Ball FighterZ, the upcoming Bandai Namco fighting game, is now available to preload on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. The beta client client can be preloaded before the actual release of the second beta test for the game.
The beta started for everyone at 3AM ET on January 14th 2018 and will run until the same time on 16th January. The preloaded client would only work for players who have preordered the game on their respective platforms.
The beta client for the game can be downloaded from the PlayStation Store for the PS4 and from the Microsoft Store for the Xbox One. The size of the client once downloaded on the PlayStation 4 will be 2.4 GB and on the Xbox One will be 3.13 GB.
However, following the Beta’s release, numerous players were plagued by login issues which kept them from playing the game at all. In a statement on social networking sites Twitter and Facebook, the developers of the game Bandai Namco acknowledged the issues and announced that the network issues could not be “addressed quickly”.
They also announced that the Open Beta will be kept online but players might face some issues while playing the game and that they open beta may be extended.
The beta client of Dragon Ball FighterZ features seven different stages and a tutorial mode. The players will be able to choose from a roster of 11 playable characters in total. These characters include:

Dragon Ball FighterZ hits the shelves on the 26th of January 2018 and will be avaulable for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Windows PC.
