Dragon Ball FighterZ releases in Europe early next year on platforms, PlayStation 4, Xbox and PC. A stateside release date isn’t final yet, but expect the game to also arrive in early 2018.
In V-Jump magazine, Bandai Namco Entertainment recently revealed that both Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta are playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and that both Android 16 and Android 18 are playable. Weekly V-jump also reveals that the game will include a “What-if” story mode involving a revived Android 16. “A new story for Goku and friends depicted in high-end animation.” It quoted. It also revealed that Android 18 will be available as a playable character, which has a special combo attack with Android 17.
Super Saiyan Blue Goku can use “10x God Kamehameha.” and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta can use “Final Flash Attack.”. Android 16 can use “Hell’s Flash” at its maximum potential. While Android 18 can use “Accel Dance,” which is a combination attack that beckons Android 17. It is unknown if this is the only capacity in which Android 17 will appear.
In the game both Super Saiyan Blue Goku and Super Saiyan Blue Vegeta will be unlockable, and pre-ordering it will win people direct access to the characters right away. Also, the players get two exclusive lobby avatars and three stamps.
Along with this, they also announced a new 3v3 online party mode that allows individual players to take control of every character on a team, instead of the traditional way, one player controls all three characters. Although the traditional way is still the principal way with which the game is played, the addition of 3v3 mode is to offer a variety of modes to play from.
Dragon Ball FighterZ Beta
Prior the game’s actual release, Bandai Namco is holding an open beta next month for the game. The characters and gameplay modes that are featuring in the beta are not yet known, but it will run from January 14-16. So far 24 characters from the Dragon Ball FighterZ roster are confirmed for the beta feature.
