Aside from announcing a release date as well as an open beta program for the upcoming Dragon Ball FighterZ game(which you can read about here), Japanese gaming giants Bandai Namco recently also unveiled new details about the game’s Downloadable Content (DLC) character pass.
Once the game launches, the players will have the option of purchasing what the developers are calling the “FighterZ Pass”, which will essentially provide players access to a plethora of DLC characters “at a discounted price”.
The pass will sell for $35 and will give players access to eight in game playable characters when they’re released. Bandai Namco hasn’t revealed which characters will be available with the character pass but they will come with their respective stamps and lobby avatars.
As of the time of writing this article, Bandai Namco has announced 18 characters for Dragon Ball FighterZ. These include:-

Cell (Perfect Form)
Frieza (Golden and Final Forms)
Future Trunks (Super Saiyyan Form)
Teen Gohan (Super Saiyyan 2 Form)
Goku (Super Saiyyan and Super Saiyyan 3 Forms)
Krillin
Majin Buu
Nappa
Piccolo
Tien Shinhan
Vegeta (Super Saiyyan Form)
Yamcha
Alongside everything else, the company also announced two digital bundles:
The Ultimate Edition which includes the game, FighterZ Pass (8 new characters), Anime Music Pack (11 songs from the Anime), and a Commentator Voice Pack whereas the CollectorZ Edition includes the game, three art boards, an exclusive steelbook and a 7″ statue of Super Saiyan Goku.
Dragon Ball FighterZ will release for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC worldwide on 26th January 2017 and in Japan on 1st February 2017.
