A whole lot of new content is on the way for Assassin’s Creed Origins this year. There was a tweet from the Assassin’s Creed Twitter account saying “Big updates coming to Assassin’s Creed Origins this month, including our first majority story expansion, a free title update, and more!” . The beginning of this variety of new content starts this month when a first free update and DLC expansion will be released. This will be accompanied by the return of a limited time event on platforms PC, PS4 and Xbox One. Even the free updates are coming to PC, PS4 and Xbox One.
This January, though the date is not finalized, Origins will receive its first free update according to Ubisoft. The new update will consist of a new quest to mark the release of the game’s “Hidden Ones” DLC. Along with this player will also gain the ability to sell their outfits at weaver shops. Heka chests will also have a growth in the item pools present as rewards. You can also gain access to the Nightmare, First Civilization, Gladiator and Wacky packs with the update.
Ubisoft has also provided details about the pack “Hidden Ones” coming out this month. The “Hidden Ones” is a premium DLC expansion pack full of new stories, characters and locales. The expansion pack portrays Bayek exploring a new region and handling the Romans. Along with the new story content Ubisoft is also claiming that there is an increased cap level of 45, up from 40. The “Hidden Ones” expansion pack is free to all season pass users, but non subscribers will most probably have to pay for the expansion pack.
Ubisoft has also announced the return of the Trial of Gods this month, which will provide another opportunity of fighting off against two opponents. Players will now be able to fight off Anubis from 9th of January to 16th of January and fight off Sobek from 23rd of January to 30th of January.
