A Little About Little Nightmares 2

We all have surely remained immersed in the epic puzzle-platformer horror video game called Little Nightmares. This game was praised for its sassy storyline, narration, gameplay, and audio-visual effects.
It followed the story of a little girl named Six, maneuvering her way out of a dreadful and scary vessel called Maw filled with ominous elements. Well, the initial Little Nightmares can be said a realistically engaging experience, it also left many doubts and questions regarding the world outside the vessel and the life of Six in the storyline. Hence, the sequel of Little Nightmares seemed quite inevitable.
The upcoming 2020 horror puzzle-platformer Little Nightmares 2, will take the story of Six’s escape further, which will reportedly feature elements outside the world of Maw comprising outdoor environment, scary woods, and abandoned shacks.
Six would now become an unplayable computer-controlled character who will be assisting her companion Mono throughout her journey, whose life the player will control. The game will have some new elements like new interesting bosses and an introduction of combat first time in the game though, which could be wholly defensive and passive.
Little Nightmares 2 Trailer Breakdown
As said above, Little Nightmares will feature Six and her friend Mono’s escape outside the world of Maw. The trailer released at Gamescon exhibits its new elements with style.
The story critically expands on the account provided in the first version of the game, where we will get to see the mysteriously humming transmission from a Signal tower, which has hypnotic powers over the residents and which could be the central point of exploration in the game.
Apart from that, the trailer could be seen with the scenes of horrifyingly looking TV sets (which purportedly be used for brainwashing people), a shadowy figure on the cover which also appears on a TV at the end of the trailer (who expectedly could be the big bad in the game).
Enemies in Little Nightmares 2
The landscape of the Little Nightmares would be dotted continuously with different enemies presiding at different places which include the Huntsman who is the boss in the forest area, he carries a shotgun and a lantern to spot victims and kill them ruthlessly.
Another enemy which could be seen is a Sadistic Teacher, outwit her and it would be easy to find your way to the signal tower. Other than that, there would be enemies like residents which possibly will attack under the influence of the tower. Students would also be vulnerable entities that could be traced back to their scary portraits hung in different rooms featured in the trailer. The main antagonist being the broadcaster would be encountered long after the game at the climax which would be operating the insidious tower. As far as we know these enemies will be present in this upcoming version of Little Nightmares other than that there could be added enemies which also can be expected.
The game looks quite similar to the games like Limbo or Journey, which try to deliver the story through a sleek environment and silent aura rather than dialogues and narration. We also got a glimpse of the environment of the game, which shows school, city, dreadful forest, and a deserted mental asylum.
The trailer, however, lacked a few things like the revelation of the moment where Six lost her dark powers, and the trailer only showed her without any unique ability. Overall the trailer gave us the idea and expectations to build up from this upcoming horror masterpiece and also revealed many components of gameplay that remained restricted to light combat, puzzle-solving, stealth, and exploration.
Little Nightmares 2 Gameplay

The upcoming Little Nightmares 2, being the direct sequel of Little Nightmare, will primarily feature gameplay elements similar to its predecessor. However, some changes could be expected as the game is now based on a word outside the Maw.
We will see a boy with an oversized raincoat and a bag over his head accompanied by his AI companion Six, discovering the dark secrets of the signal tower, dodging threats from the residents, and exploring his way to save Six from her terrible doom.
The events presented in the previous game will expectedly continue in this one too, except that we would see a perplexing broadcaster sitting on top of the seat at the tower, about whom we don’t know much yet. The elements of gameplay, as expected, will contain platforming through segments, exploring and navigating through several schools, cities, forests, etc. Puzzle-solving will be the most prior job a player will have to do, so he would have to devote a hefty portion of time-solving mysterious puzzles as the story presented in the game is loosely based on the art designs, problems, and environmental cues.
The story behind Little Nightmares 2

A little girl abducted and trapped inside an insidious vessel called Maw, where she wakes up in the lower depths of the vessel suffering from hunger and agonizing desire to eat she goes on to explore the vessel. She then is met with the realities of the vessel, where she finds herself chased by a blind janitor aboard, vile cannibal chefs, large scary blood-sucking parasites and many other things.
The gameplay is standard puzzle platforming, with a hefty amount of time gone in exploring the tricky environment, the labyrinth of puzzles, wall art, and environmental cues help Six to escape from the vessel.
The story in the second version will feature the journey of Six and her companion outside the vessel where she will have to escape from the oncoming shanty towns, deserted cities buildings and thus get away from the clutches of the dark forces of the vessel.
Little Nightmares 2 Co-op and Characters
Well as speculations are growing about the elements of the game, the main characters should also get their prior attention to be discussed. We already know Mono and Six as the two main characters, however, fans are also expecting the return of the ‘Hanging Man’ which could well be true and if this happens this game will surely be more nightmarish than ever.
Apart from that, there are few more side characters which basically are enemies in the game, they include the scary teacher, hunter and many other well-known residents of the world outside.
The game previously as speculated being coming in co-op mode too, will not be coming in that mode. So, the game this time also will only feature a single experience and thus will not have co-op functionality.
