Horizon Zero Dawn: The Frozen Wilds is the first DLC expansion for Horizon Zero Dawn. The expansion was announced on June 12 at Sony’s E3 2017 presentation.
Just like in Horizon Zero Dawn, The Frozen Wilds will also have Aloy as our Protagonist. With new powerful machines lurking within the mountain Aloy must get past them on her way to solve a new mystery.
Along with new machines, we will also get new weapons in The Frozen Wilds. The expansion also said to be set in a new era and we will have Aloy heading into new territory, over the northern mountains and into the lands of the Banuk tribe.
The Frozen wilds will not be a standalone expansion and will require you to own a copy of Horizon Zero Dawn in order to play this expansion. On the other hand, if you already own the game you can get the DLC right now at $20 from the PSN store. You can additionally save $5 if you are a PS+ member and get it for $15.
The expansion comes out on the 7th of November for PS4.
