PTR is only available on Windows and does not support the transfer of progress over to the live instance of the game.
Coming back to the map, Blizzard World will be fashoined as a theme park with numerous attractions that herald back to other Overwatch titles like WarCaft or StarCraft. It will also be the first time that any Xbox One or PlayStation 4 player will be able to play the game on the Blizzard World map. The Blizzard World map was showcased by the company’s YouTube channel in a video which can be watched above.
Apart from the map, the game will be adding new loot box items and new skins for the characters. The game’s director Jeff Kaplan also stated in a video that the developers will be adding more maps, characters and events to the game in 2018.
An event for the upcoming Chinese lunar calendar new year will also be hitting the game and Overwatch will complete two years in May for which players can also expect some exciting announcement from Blizzard entertainment.
