Rockstar Games unveiled the new trailer of its most anticipated game the Red Dead Redemption:2 and there are so many things you might have missed. From the new protagonist to the weapons there’s so much happening in the 89 sec video!
So here we are bringing you the top 5 things you might have missed in the latest Trailer.
1. We have an all new Protagonist:
Among all the things that got us excited in the new trailer, getting a new Protagonist was by far the most exciting. Players will get to play as Arthur Morgan, a ruggedly handsome outlaw who teams up with the Van der Linde gang as they rob their way across the United States. And with everything that we saw in the trailer, it looks like the new Protagonist with his rough voice and violent character might be just as good as John Marston.
2. GTA like Heist System:
Red Dead Redemption is a game which is also sometimes referred to as a “GTA game set the American West”. So it would be no surprise to see GTA style heist system being implemented into the game. In the trailer, we see both bank and train robberies which might further hint that these activities being implemented into the heist system.
3. New Weapons:
In the trailer, we see our new character Arthur Morgan with his dual wielding revolvers, and I would be lying if I said it didn’t make me jump up in excitement. That particular shot has got everyone on twitter all hyped up and players are wondering if they would be able to do that in the actual game. As for now all we can do is wait and see if what we saw in the trailer will be implemented in the actual gameplay. We also see a bow and arrow being featured in the trailer that will only make the stealth missions more appealing.
4. The Dutch returns:
Apart from the new protagonist that left us all hyped, the return of Dutch van der Linde who seems to be Morgan’s boss in R2R2. In the trailer we see Dutch asking Morgan, “Do you have my back?” to which he replies, “Always, Dutch”, which might hint to the two characters coming to blows at some point in the game.
5. It’s a Prequel:
In the trailer we see horses, and cowboys and all those little things which confirm that the game will be a prequel and will have players traveling back in time in this open world game. Red Dead Redemption 2 is said to be set in the year 1906, five years before the Red Dead Redemption.
Red Dead Redemption 2 will release on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One sometime in June next year.
