The beta for Star Wars: Battlefront 2 open beta is now rolling out for PS4, Xbox One and PC. The game notably features a lot more content than it’s prequel and the developers have stated that a lot more content will come to the final release of the game. The progress a player makes in the beta will not transfer to the finished release of the game. The developers stated that they want everyone to start fresh when the game eventually releases. EA also announced the PC requirements for the game which are as follows:

- OS: 64-bit Windows 7 SP1, Windows 8.1 and Windows 10
- Processor: AMD FX-6350 or Intel Core i5 6600K
- Memory: 8GB RAM
- Graphics card: AMD Radeon HD 7850 2GB or Nvidia GeForce GTX 660 2GB
- DirectX: 11.0 Compatible video card or equivalent
- Online Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
- Hard drive space: 15GB

- Online Requirements: Requirements: 512 KBPS or faster Internet connection
- Hard drive space: 15GB
EA said in a statement: “Big as it is, the Beta represents only a tiny portion of what you’ll see in the full Star Wars Battlefront II experience: eleven distinct planets of Galactic Assault, space battles across all three cinematic eras of Star Wars , an original single-player campaign, all-new modes, and fully-customizable heroes, starfighters, and trooper classes, we hope you enjoy the Beta. We’re very proud of what we’ve created and look forward to sharing it with you.”
The beta will run till the 9th of October and the full retail copy comes out on November 17 2017.
