You might have loved watching horror movies. But when it comes to horror games, which one would you like to line up as the best? Well, whatever your choice may be. To add to the list of horror games, ‘We Happy Few’ is in the pipeline as well.
However, this time again the developers i.e. Compulsion Games have delayed the release of this much-awaited psychedelic survival horror.
Set in the backdrop of England in the fictitious 1960s, the rebuilding of the first few hours of the game is the cause of this hold-up.
The team Compulsion Games believes the story of one of the playable character is not in sync with the weird and funny moments of the opening of the game. Therefore, Arthur’s character is under a major refinement during the wait. The first island for Arthur is likely undergoing a thorough rebuilding.
Realizing that the game did not begin as well as it should have been, the revamp was considered. Also, the developers thought that you should enter the action-packed scenario sooner than later.
Nonetheless, the content of the whole of the game is ready to be revealed shortly. Alas, the sudden improvements have postponed the game’s release to the summer of 2018. Earlier, We Happy Few was proclaimed to publicize on the 13th of April.
In this dystopian survival game, everyone is hooked to a hallucinogen drug called “Joy”. While, you as a player, portraying the characters of either Arthur, Sally or the third undisclosed character seek to move out of the place.
Further, We Happy Few has had an Early Access version. This was made available to you on a pre-purchase on Steam. Howbeit, the price hike with respect to the other platforms had been brought to the notice of the developers.
Therefore, it seems that the Early Access would be denied to you until the official issue of the gameplay. The inflated cost of an unfinished game ($51) compared to the final game is what has led the suspension of the Early Access.
Perhaps, it is good to note that no pre-purchases would be allowed for this game from the end of January until a few days prior to the launch. Nonetheless, you would be refunded all the amount if you had been a Steam player, regardless of your playing time.
Anyhow, you can be ready to welcome the dystopian survival ‘We Happy Few’ into your Xbox One, PS4 and PC soon.
