So whats new in this update?
So, if you have been waiting to play the Witcher 3 at 4K and wanted to see how the game would look with all the enhanced graphics well this new update lets you do that. Though not at full 4K (3840-by-2160 pixels), the game runs at more of a sub 4k (3200-by-1800 pixels) resolution, which is still a massive jump from the previous 1080p resolution. In the video below you can see how the game looks like on 4K.
It came as quite a surprise to many people when studio CD Projekt Red decided to notch up the graphics for the PS4 pro as the studio had earlier stated that patching up the game would be too time consuming. Though many were surprised by the recent patch update, it didn’t come as a shock as The Witcher 3 game is still one of the best RPG game to have ever come out.
The game came out on 19 May 2015 and is available for Microsoft Windows, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
